hay all
i am using a netgear wireless router to connect to the i'net
the computer detects the wireless in range and when i click connect
...it says "Acquiring network address" for a long time and then says
connected.
But when I check the properties of the connection the default gateway
is missing and and the address type is "automatic private address"
..i cant ping my router. On the router every thing looks fine.DHCP is
enabled.
On the laptop the address is automatically obtained.
I had this problem last time and I was asked to delete something in the
registry and un-install that tcp/ip protocol. I don't really remember
what that was ..can some1 help
Thanks
