Automatic net join upon boot

I've got samba all setup to authenticate via an M$ PDC (that all works
fine), my only question is that in order to join the domain I've passed the
command:

# net join -S $PDC -U Administrator

Do I need to automate that during boot (if so how do I pass the password to
it); or now that I've done it, will win bind or samba remember it somehow?
I'd test it but I can't just 'reboot' this server...

Thanks!

You don't need to rejoin the domain on each boot. Samba saves the
machine SID and uses it automatically if you've set it up for domain
authentication.
