auto updates?

I run a small business server 2003 with four XP machines linked, can I
enable
my server to download automatic updates and deploy them to my XP machines so
that I only have to download once, all the XP machines are identical?

What you can do is setup SUS service (SUS = Software Update Service). It is
a free service provided by Microsoft that does exactly what you want. It
synchronizes with Microsoft website and downloads patches that can be
applied (even automatically) to your clients.
