server? I have seen ways for dail uo using ,pbf files but I don't see those
files when creating a VPN connection on client. Any advice?

Yes I know that part, how do I make it work? What files do I call with the
rasdial. Where are what are the VPN files called?

It is just a command line version of the connection window. You put in
the same info as you enter in the window to connect.

Sorry I have no idea what your refering to. What is a command line version
of what connection window. I create the VPN connection using the network
connections. I assume that creates a file somewhere that I can call from a
command line byt I do not know what that connections is called or where that
file is kept.

I make a VPN connection now by going to Network connections and create a VPN
connections with the add network connection wizard. Of course I only do this
once then it creats a GUI icon to click on when I want to make the connection
again. Is there a way to open the VPN via command line. I would use
scheduler to then ron it daily. All I trying to figure out is what is the
file name of the VPN connection that I call and where is it located. All I
can find/see is the the GUI icon for the VPN connection. Doesn't it create a
file somewhere I can use. If not then how is this done. I can't write a cmd
line that says open the VPN to Work icon. I need a file name and location.
At least that's what I think I need. Thanks

Go to Network Connections and find your connection. This is the connection
you want to start from a command line.

If your connection is set up to dial without you entering anything (ie
it does not prompt you for passwork or other details) all you need to do to
start it is

rasdial connectionname

You only need the other parameters if they are not already set in the
connection properties.
