Hi,

I'm attempting to configure a wireless adapter to connect to my
university network using the live distro of auditor. I have found that
i need to use wpa_supplicant (and its related .conf file) and define a
network block. The trouble is i'm unsure of the settings i should be
using.

>From the guide i have for connecting in WinXP I understand the

following settings to be required:

ssid = SHU-USS (this is not broadcast)
wpa
data encryption = tkip
IEEE8021x auth = enabled
EAP TYPE = PEAP (Protected EAP)
Auth method = EAP-MSCHAP v2 (Secured password)
Authmode 1 - Computer authentication with Reauthentication

I also need to specify my uni logon account credentials at some point
in order to connect. Is this where wpa_cli comes into play?

Could anyone suggest an appropriate config for this? I've tried but i'm
pretty new to the whole linux thing.

Auditor is Release 2.6.11-Auditor-10, using a Cisco Aironet 350 Series
pcmcia adapter.

Thanks in advance for any help.

David
