I'm hoping to run a kind of "network radio" in my flat using an MP3
jukebox and some physically distributed machines. I'm assuming that
streaming audio is the way to do this. Of course, I could use really
long speaker cables, but that would be a bit dull
I've found this interesting page:
http://www.aaronsw.com/2002/howto/stream
Which provides commands to open a stream and connect to it. This works
well with one connection, but a second connection restarts the track
from the beginning, so the two machines are out of sync. Is there any
way I can have successive connections "hop in" to the stream as it's
being passed out to the first machine, thus connecting as if to a
radio station?
Thanks,
Peter
