Just been reading the Plusnet forum on ADSL Guide, or, Think Broadband or
whatever it is now?

A guy called James Bailey (Metronet James?) who claims to be a Plusnet Comm.
representative is showing shockingly unprofessional behaviour in a lot of
his comments, in the last couple of weeks he has been trading insults with
posters and losing his temper on a regular basis!!!

Where do Plusnet find these people? I realise there is bad blood between
Plusnet, old customers and especially current customers Plusnet have lied to
and used the old spin promises with, possibly their is bad blood between
Plusnet and the owners of that site for not letting Plusnet take control of
what's written about them, as they love to do, but to see company reps act
like this in public really is astonishing.

I urge all of you to go look at the Plusnet forums on that site, its kind of
morbid fascinating entertainment, but Plusnet are back there and making a
fool of themselves again.

So ? Seems to be par for the course.

Plusnet seem to be believe that their customers should be happy with what they
get. They're not alone in this approach and in fact they probably offer somewhat
better than some of their similarly inclined competitors.

The only way this will ever change is if the users 'revolt' and take their
business elsewhere. Until such time expect nothing to change since there will be
no commercial reason to do anything about it.

Just moaning will achieve the sum total of nothing since ISPs know that most ppl
are simply too lazy to actually bother to move.

Actually I find their honesty refreshing. They are after all just people
like the rest of us.

??? PlusNet are notorious for being compulsive liars. And when the
company lies, their forum reps have to lie too. They've been caught out
time after time after time and yet they still have the nerve to call
themselves 'open & honest'.

Would the reason they came back have anything to with them trying to protect
their jobs, in the face of possible oursourcing to Mahatma Coat in
downtown Mumbai i wonder?

When Metronet had its own existence James was very corteous and
helpful. Maybe he has been on a Plusnet induction course.

Must be a year since Metronet became more fully integrated into PN.

As for comments on the board there's a degree of provocation, and I
often wonder why he bothers to respond to some posts/posters, who
may be trolls - some are past users, some never have been users

I've always found James to be very helpfull and if you look closely
it is the std 3-4 posters with a grudge/nothing better to do with
their
time.

I can see the new Plusnet slogan now

"Plusnet lead the way with abusive comm agents and refreshingly honest
dishonesty"

I hope they don't change though, all their blunders and cock ups make for a
great soap opera
