I have read on this newsgroup with interest, if not with much
understanding, about "attenuation" and "SNR", and how some broadband
routers supply this information.

Mine is an Asus AAM6000EV, which does not give me this information (or
if it does, I haven't been able to find it). Can anyone point me
towards some download, somewhere, which would give me me access to this
information?

Gordon

Have a look at http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/kemyst/id37.htm - which
gives details of console commands that bring up this information.
