Atmel WLAN in SUSE 9?

Simple question - does SuSE 9.0 ship with the Atmel WLAN drivers? I
checked the hardware database but it gives no information.

I have installed the drivers from source and they work most of the time,
but every so often hotplugging my Belkin USB adaptor gets recognised as
WLAN0 and not eth0 as configured. Also, certain available settings on
the yast network setup pages suggest that the drivers might have been
available anyway.

Now I've installed them from source I have no way of telling whether they
were included in the original install or not. Anyone got an Atmel device
to work "out of the box"?
