Asus notebook wireless problems

I have just purchased a new ASUS A2500H P4 2.8Ghz notebook with built in
wireless card. It comes with Intel Pro software for the wireless control.
Every 2 minutes or so the signal dies and then within 2 secs it's back up
again. I uninstalled the software and drivers and re-install as per Asus
instructions, which work a bit better but the traffic is slow and still
intermittant.
It's the notebook thats faulty as I installed my own w/less card in the same
machine and it works fine. We also have 3 other notebooks on the AP and they
are all OK.
Anyone got any ideas. I have contacted Asus but so far no reply.

Peter
