apt-get doesn't work

Hello,

I'm french. And i have a problem. Apt-get doesn't work. It pause during
connection :

#42sh: apt-get install postfix

....
0% [Connexion à ftp.fr.debian.org] (stay like that)

My computer is a server.
I have unistalled ppp, pppconfig.

What do ?

Believe me, apt-get works well.

Please check if U are connected to the internet
and if U have proper entries in /etc/apt/sources.list.
Sample configuration is here: http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/ap...basico.fr.html


Than, if all is right please do this:
# apt-get clean
# apt-get update
# apt-get install postfix

and dump results of those commands.

Nop

In fact it was /etc/resolv.conf so ssh, ftp worked but not apt and ping .

Believe me, apt-get works well.

Please check if U are connected to the internet
