Apple Airport IP Issue

Hello! I have an issue with an Airport Extreme. It has all of a sudden
stopped distributing IP addresses in it's specified range, and instead
the laptops (running Windows XP Pro) are getting their IP's from our
DHCP server. This just started happening and it has worked for the past
two months previous. The Airport has Base Station version 5.5.1 (we
won't upgrade until the bugs in the latest version are fixed). We have
already done a hard reset and reconfigured the device. The laptops can
browse the network and internet with the DHCP IP address, but cannot
print to the USB printer connected to the Airport. If anyone has any
suggestions it would be greatly appreciated!

Is the AirPort base station connected to your network via its WAN port?

Yes. It's connected via the WAN port not the LAN port.

Then I'm stumped. In the base station's default (reset) configuration,
"Distribute IP addresses" should show up as enabled in AirPort Admin
Utility and it should be distributing addresses in the 10.0.1.x range to
its wireless clients.

Just wanted to let you know that I've thrown in the towel and called
Apple. They are exchanging the Airport. Hopefully this will help!
