Hello,

I would like to setup an Apache webserver, preferably on a linux box.
I currently have a Win2k machine connected to the Internet via
satellite as a gateway machine. This has to stay, as my satellite
provider has no provisions for linux. I have tried to use WinProxy to
expand this connection to anyone on my local network, but currently my
firewall software(BlackICE) is prohibiting that(it worked until I
installed BlackICE), I think it is just a matter of fixing my
hosts(allow/deny) tables.

How do I need to configure the linux box to do this? I don't think it
would be to hard to setup us a local webserver, but I would like to
set it as a viewable WWW machine. Will I need to play some tricks
with my Proxy software? I may have to disable my firewall, but would
prefer not to do that.

Thanks

JW
