Hi all,

Aim: Set up a Linux box for a company's Web site containing HTML and
JSP.
Preferred solution: Apache/Tomcat combionation

Hardware: Dell

OS: Linux RedHat Advanced Server
Web: Apache latest
JSP: Tomcat latest
Connectors: jakarta-tomcat latest
Consulted docs: official tomcat docs + numerous 'sui generis' how-tos

Have tried default configure and makefiles: YES.

Problem: Apache & Tomcat standalone work fine.
jakarta connectors (neither mod_jk or mod_jk2) impossible to function!

Assistance required: Could someone suggest a step-by-step example of a
succesful installation _on AS_? Including configure options for Apache
and jakarta-connectors? I've done it for RH 7.3 and RH 9.0 but all
attempts and combinations break for AS. I have searched high and low for
binaries of the .so's but couldn't dig up any.

If you could direct me to a better place to ask the question, I would
appreciate it. The clock of the client is ticking towards ASP on W32
very fast...

Thanks in advance,
K.
