Hi, I have just installed Apcahe server version 2.

When I try to launch the http server it comes with the following error:

[Sun Feb 22 14:18:55 2004] [crit] (OS 10038)Socket operation on non-socket: make
_sock: for address 0.0.0.0:80, apr_socket_opt_set: (SO_KEEPALIVE)
no listening sockets available, shutting down
Unable to open logs

I have tried different ports (such as 8080) in the http.conf file and it's always the same problem.

When I do a netstat -a, I do not have any occurence of neither port 80 nor 8080.

I used to work without any problem with the same version of Apache server before. I had to reinstall my system from scratch, and since then, I can't get it to work anymore.

I have seen several post describing the same problem on different forum, but I could never come across a solution...

Can anybody help me with this?

Cheers.
