I have a LAN with 4 computers plugged into a linksys 4-port dsl cable
router and cable internet access. The cable router is plugged into the
cable modem via a long 50 foot cable. We want to lose the cable, but
not pay to have another cable outlet installed.

I noticed that right now you can get a NetGear HE102 802.11a AP for
$25 (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...N100-1436%20P).
Would it be possible to buy 2 of these and plug one AP into the Cable
Modem, plug a second AP into the DSL/Cable router, then configure it
such that the long network cable strung across the floor could be
eliminated?

Any help is much appreciated!
