Not too sure if you are a UK user but unfortunately ICS with AOL BB
dont work, Try it and you will see that the DUN that is Created is a
virtual one, and when you try to share it AOL (Client 7 & 8) creates a
new DUN which in turn cannot be shared. The only way i have managed
to get AOL BB shared is by using proxy software, Iproxy does this
well, although not on port 80 and it has a few security issues. The
other successful attempt was with Wingate, although this needed to be
installed on the client machines, it completely killed my Proxy
machine, i have now resigned myself to the fact that i have 5 more
months with AOL then i can go to a real service provider.
If anyone has managed to find a solution to this particular problem
then let us all know, i am sure that there must be a whole host of BB
people out there who have had experience of this problem, there must
be an answer that doesnt involve me using Wingate.
Good luck in the search.
