Hello,

I have Windows ME and AOL 7.0. when I boot I do NOT get a
windows logon box. I upgraded to AOL 9.0 and now when I
boot I get a logon box. I contacted AOL and they
indicated that it is a windows problem and that they will
not help me.

does anyone know how to remove the logon box from Windows
ME?

Thanks in advance for your help

You would do well to follow your own advice.

The following URL may help you:

Please read the following before applying your own (inappropriate)
requirements to a 'private' newsgroup - these groups are NOT part of
UseNet - and there is no recommendation to either top-post, or bottom-post

No sensible person would even consider using Outlook Express as a news
client. Your software is seriously broken. As well as mindlessly
top-posting, you are inappropriately inserting sig separators in the
middle of all your postings.

Kind regards,

Outlook Express is a great newsreader, if you know how to use it.

Top posting is proper netiquette and is preferred by those of us who don't
want to scroll the length of a message in search of comments or snippets of
comments laced throughout the text. It's more efficient and offers
consideration to those you are replying to.

Think about it.

Carey
