We're looking at replacing our ageing RedHat file server with a NAS
device and the Adaptec Snap Server 510 has caught my eye.
I've never used NAS before, so I was wondering if anyone out there is
using one of these systems what is your opinion of it ? It'll be used
by a team of 14 and it'll store their home directories, shared project
data and shared apps.
I'm assuming that a device like this will give better prerformance and
reliabilty and will be easier to administer than spending a similar
amount on a traditional server running Linux.

Any comments would be gratefully received.

Thanks,
Eoin
