Does anyone have experience with this unit? I'm looking for something
with higher output power and better temperature handling than the
Linksys stuff but still at an affordable price.

Check out the Buffalo high power wireless router. Recommended.

That looks like a router. I was looking for an AP and or Bridge.

Pretty much any wireless router can be configured as a wireless access
point, as described in the wiki below.

I think (but too lazy to check) Buffalo can also be configured as a
wireless Ethernet (client) bridge.

Please don't switch posting styles (top vs bottom) in mid-thread -- it's
confusing. Thanks.

The Buffalo WHR-HP- G54 router works as a client, that's a bridge,
no? (loosely speaking at least)

Looking at the EZY03 802.11b/g it shows G transmit power as 100mw. No
real advantage there. There ARE 400mw 802.11G radios availible but
this is not one of them.

This one might be better:

Or just go with the Buffalo HP and hi gain antenna(s).

Steve

It's the client end of a bridge.

That's what I would do.
