Is anyone other then me using 2 WUSB54G's off the same AP.. I have a
WAP54g and 2 New Dell pc's and am trying to use USB adapters to
connect.. having all sorts of problems, Can't share printer between the

two, Getting "access violation at
address 004075e5 module WUSB54G4.exe of address 00000368" on both PC's
and having connect issues (one or the other drops off the net) .
Thanks , Ted O.

If you mean one wireless USB device on one PC, and another PC using a USB
wireless device, then it may be a driver issue.

Sound good you are moving to OEx. You'll have much more control of the
groups.

As far as the access violations, it seems driver related. Maybe there's
another service interfering with it or not compatible with it? Firewall,
antivirus or antispyware may be conflicting? What else is installed on the
machines?

Since SP2? Hmm, and the Windows firewall is deactivated.

See if there are any Dell hardware updates for USB or any other hardware.

No prob for the help! :-)

Ace, This is wierd,, the 2 pc's with the WUSB54G's can see and print to
the shared printer in the main building, also I can print to the shared
printer on the one PC with USB adapter that has shared printer in the
remote build. from my office PC, which is hardwired to WRT54G. But the
one pc w/usb adapt. that can see printer in main building cannot print
to printer on the other PC w/usb adapt. in the remote building..

I;ve seen issues with various wireless implementations. I remember one
customer had a problem with two laptops out of 20. All configured the same.
We found out the only thing difrerent was they were using a Sony PCCard
wireless adapter. For some reason, the Sonys had a problem with certain
types of communication protocols. We replaced them with 3Coms and the
problem disappeared.

Go figure...
