Been offline since 1.30pm since my phoneline was also dead for 20
mins. When the dial tone returned adsl was and is still dead. Be say
something about my ex-ISP blocking the line. Breathe who I was with
before say many ISP's are down this weekend due to a BT technical
fault. Don't know what to believe. Nothng can be done until Monday or
Tuesday. Anyone else know anything etc ?

Where in the UK are you? I'm in Cumbria and I've been on standby at
work this weekend - VPN'd in yesterday morning to check things were OK
and quite a few of our ISDN sites were down. Sometimes it's the users
turning their kit off, but the sites were care homes open 24/7 so I'm
wondering if the apparant BT technical fault you mentioned had
affected our sites?

FYI - the sites were back up this morning when I checked everything.

I'd be more inclined to think your ex-ISP had something to do with it.

Errors in bulk migration orders (which I think this was) are not new.
Were I you I would seek compensation from Breathe - and not for
pennies either.
