I'm on Telewest 1Mb standard unlimited 25 quid a month.
Its great! I've been downloading dozens
of 650Mb livecds in 1.5 hours each.
http://www.frozentech.com/content/livecd.php

Thinking hard now about upgrading to 4Mb/380k service
at 50 quid a month (unlimited), primarily for that
increased upload rate.

Thinking hard about this 8mb/400k service from
UKOnline as well for 40 quid a month...

No limits. So you should be miffed.
I'm listening to many of the 10,000+ internet radio stations
several hours a day. Thats gigabytes of download.
There are so many specialist channels I finally get
what I like to listen.
Now also now learning from maths lectures from MRSI
http://www.archive.org/
Each of them is 2 to 4Gb file and takes 8 hours to download.
I leave that running overnight being collected
into my local file server.

nice link though. I love trying these LIVE CDs out, and they are very
handy to have around. Any of them capable of reading NTFS partitions
yet though ?

Cant say anything about their 1Mb but im on their 512kbs and havnt had a
singly problem yet, only been with them for 11 days, however my PC hasnt
disconnected yet, PC is showing connection time as 11 days 5 hours 46 min 30
sec atm.

So if the 1Mbps is the same can fault them for reliability really.
