Anyone here got experience configuring a cisco 4400 controller and a windows 2003 radius server?

Anyone here got experience configuring a cisco 4400 controller and a
windows 2003 radius server?


is it even possible to make it work? I have search the internet and
cannot find any docs other than setting up the controller with cisco
own radius software.

in config mode, can you use the "aaa-server" command ?

Check that you have a recent IOS too.

hi there, thanks for the reply.

I am not too familar with the console , so I do most of the work via
the web interface. I do have the latest IOS, just updated it this
week.

have you set up a similar unit before?

Hi there,

yes, still stuck at getting it to authenticate my wireless clients.

Both the controller and radius server have the same share key
Both controller and access point can ping each other

The radius server is not recording any attempts at any logins

The Controller logs complains about AAA being unable to send message.
Radius server xxxxxx ip address failed to respond to request. / user
unknown


My wireless clients are stuck at " validating authentity "
