I am after the old firmware eg 3.0.39 for a D-Link DWL-1000AP.

I have searched high and low, but not found it......have seen plenty of
references to it around tho.

I purchased this AP second hand, so D-Link doesn't want to talk to me......

maybe a link to some place that I could download it from?

I have searched Dlink USA/ Australia / UK / Germany but earliest I can find
is 3.2.28

thanks in advance

ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Wireless/DWL1000AP/Firmware

There I see 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2

I suppose your subject line was a typo... Be aware that USofA flavors my
have different power outputs and channels...

Thanks for the quick reply Darrel, tho I have tried all of those......:-(

Quite misleading actually 2.0 is actually firmware 3.2.28 inside it.

(it's a bit annoying when you download all three firmwares to find they are
all wrong)

Not sure what the file would be called for the firmware I am after ??

Okay...

Confusing to say the least...

Only if you are paying by the byte or on a dialup connection. I regularly
pull down 700 meg ISO's in less than an hour and have never been annoyed by
it, even alittle bit...

Well it would take someone with an archive of that product then. I do for
the ones I own, but I don't have that one...

So have you written to those you Googled, in this regard?
