Anyone experience 801.11a interference with 5.8GHz cordless phone?

I have a Netgear a/g wireless router using both a & g bands.

I am planning to get a new 5.8 GHz cordless phone, but I am concerned it
might interfere with the 11a.

Anyone ever experience any 5.8 GHz cordless phone interference with 11a
wireless AP or router?

802.11a internal radio system operate between 5.18GHz and 5.32GHz, so you
should see no interferance if you can get a hold of a 5.8GHz cordless
telephone system. I hope this helps.

Only use the lower 8 channels on 802.11a and you will be fine..
There are 3 UNII bands.. The first 4 channels of 802.11a use the low UNII
band
The second set of 4 channels use the mid UNII band. The upper 4-5 channels
use the high UNII band (5.8Ghz) Legacy AP's don't support this band, but
new ones
do as well as Atheros client cards.
