Hello there, is anybody here actually PAYING for their internet/ broadband connection? Ok - STOP. There is a unique and totally new service that will completely blow the world over. How about this; - 40 times the speed of dial-up, 4 times the speed of broadband, works on PC or Mac, involves NO hardware, NO contract and NO COST. That's right - IT'S FREE. Go to ...

http://www.juicefreehighspeedbroadband.com

This is completely revolutionary and will give all the leading ISP's all across the world a good run for there money.

True. Sorry for reposting it by the way; accident

The site is almost convincing until you start reading the content properly:

"You will never see another dead, blank or irrelevant page ever again and if
you do, we will pay you £500.
You will NOT get another spam email EVER, but if you do we will pay you £100
in compensation.
You are guaranteed to get a minimum connection speed of 2MB with 100%
uptime. If we fail to meet either or both we will pay you £500 per failure."

All that for free.

Dominic

There was something in another newsgroup... looks like some MLM from
http://www.juiceboosted.com/ which doesn't even launch until October
2004, but offers 27 GBP per new signup, which means there's bound to
be more of this junk over the next few weeks, not less. Peter M.

hahahaha!

Compression that speeds up 56k to over 2mbit/sec? All these people are
developing faster technologies, refining adsl equipment to get more out of
shitty old phone lines, and all they had to do was talk to you!

The world will fall to pieces overnight!

OR it could all be bullshit, and harvesting for email addresses to spam. You
choose. Twat.

Congratulations - this was reported to the local trading standards office
when they started their spam campaign last time.

So, if I applied Juice to my 2 Mbps connection, I would get an 80 Mbps. Wow

As they say - if it seems too good to be true . . . . .

Cheers

Nick

Good, so maybe you could subscribe to a comprehensive, online grammar
and spelling course then.

No, it's perfectly possible to transmit a 30 YB file over a 56 kbps
connection in a fraction of a second after compression. That's well in
excess of 2 Mbps. There's just one tiny restriction - hardly worth
mentioning really - all the bytes of the file must be identical.

It's possible to make almost anything seem plausible and have some
very tenuous connection to truth behind it. However, the above scam
doesn't even attempt either to seem plausible or to have the remotest
connection to the truth. So it's not even worthy of the description
"bullshit".
