Problem is when i first installed all was hunky dory, but now unless i shut
it down (SPF) I cant access any computers etc.

I have created Advanced rules and checked all the options in the option
screens available, still same.

only thing i havent done is give Each system its own IP address ? Dont see
why i should as this is just me breaking into networking but will do if it
will make it work ?

I do like this Firewall and would be prepared to buy it compared to others
if it allows more options to be making it work, any help appreciated

andy

I used to like it but recently it has gone downhill. Alot of people I'm
coming across who have problems accessing certain websites such as
Hotmail as well as random inability to access the internet have all
been down to Sygate 5.6.

Ditched IE.
Properly set up the built in firewall on my Netgear ADSL Modem Router.

I gave up on Sygate - could not stop it blocking some IPs. Am now very
happy with AVG AV plus firewall.

I have got a Hardware firewall router, do you reckon id be better off
fitting that or trying the AVG AV,

I guess I can just plug the Router into my hub so then the main PC will not
need to be wireless is that correct ?

I havent really done much networking or any wireless hence ive left it in
its box for over a year, but im sure ill pick it up easy enough.
