Strange stuff like locking up, going back to default settings, having the
wireless fail, having it unable to access a POP server, etc?
I have two that are behaving bizzarely at more than one location and one of
them already had to be replaced because it was unable to be reset or
accessed.

I bought one at Best Buy two weeks ago. Unit kept dropping connections and
resetting. Linksys tech support suggested that I exchange it for another
unit, which worked fine.

Hopefully, their new Cisco connection will improve the quality of their
stuff.

I purchased one at Amazon.com (very good price) and it worked great for 2
months then started to drop connections. Tech support asked me to update
the firmware which had already done. They then asked me to restore the
default configs and reload the backup. By this time I no longer could
access it thru IE. Reboot didn't work. Sent it back to Linksys and got a
new/rebuild one 2 weeks ago and no problems since.

Their hardware definitely leaves something to be desired. I had a WAP11
that died 14 months after I bought it (2 months after the warranty expired).
Linksys totally washed their hands of the unit. They didn't even have the
decency of having a trade-in program so I could get a replacement unit at a
reduced price. Only option was to buy a new one and throw out the old unit.

Luckily these things are cheap enough so the pain isn't to great.
