Looking for something like what Nomadix/ Colubris is doing... but want
cheaper & easier ones...

Have heard of nocat, but to be honest, I have zero skills in Linux, I
have couples 802.1b APs of different brands and want to turn them ALL
into free hotspot access...

Can anyone point me to any product that CAN run on Windows?

Thanks loads!

James,

Well, our product FirstSpot should do what you want. Please visit:

http://patronsoft.com/firstspot

To summarize, FirstSpot is a Windows-based product that provides captive
portal and some other tracking features. The pricing is server-based so it
is more flexible for you to structure your access package. It is full
customizable and there is no need to tie to any pricing structure.

Email me at "aleung at patronsoft.com" if you are interested.

(P.S. I think Joltage already closed its door.)

Thanks All for your answers.

Have finally tried our FirstSpot, works perfectly fine on Windows. It
costs less than 300 bucks... Heard that they support online credit
card billing as well... sounds cool... quite tempted to make my
hotspot fee-based...

Can check from here if you are interested:

Cheers.

James.
