I've got an iBook running Mac OS 9.2 with an Apple Airport card. The
problem is that I can only get a half decent signal in part of the room
(sound familiar?). The base station, which is used for a bunch of us,
can't be easily moved.

So... I'm hoping for a USB 802.11 thingee I can hook up to my ibook, and
place in a better reception spot.

I picked up a couple but they didn't work with the Mac. They did ok on the
Windows machines so I handed them off to the other folk.

Anyone have suggestions? Thanks

I used a Belcan eithernet bridge on my G5 iMac until I bought the internal
wireless card for it
It worked just fine.
