any talk talk customers here?

My aunt recently joined up to talk talk. Yesterday over the phone I helped
her to setup her broadband and all has been fine.
This morning was fine too but since this afternoon she has not been able to
log on and gets error 718.
The username/password settings have not changed.
As I am not a talk talk customer I cannot log on to their member area to
find out the service status. Their website help viewable to non customers
seem sparce.

Does anyone know if there is a problem in the Northampton area?

BT have informed us that there has been a Major Service Outage in the
Milton Keynes exchange, which may have cause some of our customers
difficulty in getting connected.

Hi Beck

There was a major issue affecting authentication and not just limited to
those that are BT or BT Yahoo! Broadband. I know that Zen, Metronet, F2S
and PlusNet.

This seems to be fixed, so should be working OK now.

I'm assuming your aunt's login details aren't working for you... for the
website (not attempting an ADSL connection, of course). Peter M.

Well they haven't worked on the website since she setup her account
