Help!
Toshiba P25 S607
Orinoco/Proxim Silver B,G card

When I right click on the system tray wireless icon and select "VIEW
AVAILABLE WIRELESS NETWORKS," the resulting window is grayed out and I have
no access to the "ADVANCED TAB," or the "CONNECT" tab. It just started this
deviant behavior and I can find no conflicts or other indications in the Win
XP Pro "EVENT MANAGER" that would give me a clue. The wireless connection
is operating just fine but I need this access through this window.

Anyone have any ideas??

Thanks fellows,

Bill

Did you switch the default manager from Windows Zero Configuration manager
to the wireless card software config manager?

Open a windows command prompt and type: net start ndisuio. Then try the
system tray icon again.

If this solves the problem, go to 'Services' in control panel (under
Administrative...) and set the startup property of the 'Wireless Zero
Configuration' to 'Automatic'.

/t.
