Any Firefox users?

Following enthusiastic recommendations, last night I installed Firefox
and for the time being made it my default browser in place of MSIE6.

But, although I'm sure it will turn out to be as fast, robust and
versatile as I've been told, I must say I'm having some early
problems. I've posted a few queries to
netscape.public.mozilla.general, and I've joined an online forum at
http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=38

But I'm floundering a bit on various basics. Things like plug-ins, and
listening to a particular radio station, so need as much help as I can
get. Anyone here using it please?

Which radio station and plug-ins?

I've been using Firefox for a month or so, and it displays all the sites
I've been to without a problem, including those with java, javascript,
flash...

Just checked with the BBC website, and streaming radio works there, using
realplayer plugin.

Let me know which site you have a problem with, and I'll see how it looks
here.

Cheers,
Dan.

jumping on the bandwagon here..... try www.three.co.uk, does the centre
picture display with flash or does it keep telling you to download the
plug in? I have installed the plug-in but it still doesnt load and tells
me to download flash - which I already have!

Plays fine for me, using Firefox 1.0 and flashplayer 7.0.19.0.
I installed flashplayer separately after installing Firefox, didn't
use the download option.

no, if I click on the Barclays Premiership then flash loads up fine
but it will not load on that first image on the Three homepage. :-(

It's works fine for me as well with FireFox, but I also have Mozilla
installed, does it look for plugins from there?

I have just remembered that you can see what plugins are installed by
typing 'aboutlugins' in the address bar.

Three's flash version detector is broken. It decides you can't possibly
have a flash plugin unless you've got at least four plugins in your
browser. Sigh.

Anyone got a suggestion for another plugin? I've got realplayer, java,
and flash so far.

I can't even tell them as (a) they don't provide an email address (b)
their submit button on the feedback page is broken. Oh, and it's outside
the form that is relates to, anyway. Double sigh.

Another plugin? On second thoughts, I'll just not bother.

Chris

Try User Agent Switcher -
http://www.chrispederick.com/work/fi...cher/download/

Useful for those annoying sites that insist that you use IE
