Hi,

I was able to find lots of 802.11b "bridges" that is, devices that
convert any rj11 device into a wireless one, without drivers.

But with 802.11a (the 2.4 Ghz spectrum is too polluted with other
devices for me)... I'm having a hard time.

I was only able to find one: the Sony Vaio PCWA-E50 "802.11a to
ethernet converter", that is a small panel antenna and receiver with a
RJ45 plug for connection to the notebook via ethernet.

Any other *AFFORDABLE* 802.11a <-> ethernet bridge solutions out
there? I'm thinking for indoor use, NOT expensive outdoor, ISP-grade
bridge solutions.

Thanks for any pointers.
Willy

As far as I know, the Sony is unique in its price range. Also, I
believe it's only a single client bridge.
