Antenna selection switching in D-Link DWL-900AP+

Someone on this newsgroup recently posted that the antenna selection in the
latest version of firmware for this AP (Version 2.57) did not work properly
and that downgrading to an earlier version fixed it. I have upgraded to
2.57 and want to use an external antenna with this device and believe that I
need to tell it to use the right antenna. Does anyone have any info on this
and where might I find earlier versions of firmware since the D-Link web
site only has 2.57 and 2.56?
