Antenna Range?

Hi!

Anyone have any thoughts about transmitting a signal using a linksys
router 2.5 miles (3miles)? Somewhere in this range?

Otherwise is there a better wireless router I could use? I need to
send a signal about this distance. Is there an amplifier or a good
antenna? If so which company and about how much?

It could even be a directional antenna. Doesn't have to be an omni
directional antenna.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Very possible if installed correctly. Would require a directional antenna on
the high gain end of the spectrum.
