I need to improve the range of my BEFW11S4. Do I replace just one antenna
or both? Any recommendations for low-budget non-techies?
Thanks

http://www.freeantennas.com I like the EZ-10.
It doesn't get any easier or cheaper, although my daughter-in-law thinks it
looks funny.

When you post a long URL, enclose it in < >, so that it will not be split
into lines.

If I interpret your results correctly, only one reflector is really
required?
Thanks

That is true.

One reflector and one bare antenna was not a good thing. If I was within
(poor) range of the bare antenna, I would toggle between the two. That may
be a feature of the SMC router.

I reconsidered that thought. I looked at the chart that I posted... so
long ago I couldn't remember what it was saying.
One reflector and one bare antenna was a bad thing, but two reflectors was
more stable than one reflector for my prime viewing area "the couch".
The "partner Signal Location" according to the Orinoco monitor actually
went down from two bare antennas to one reflector, but was improved quite a
bit with two reflectors.

This was a change from having the signal sometimes disappear when I
moved a little bit, to having a signal that was solid even if I relocated
a little.
