antenna extension?

Hi there,

Since one of my computers is in an outbuilding about 100 yards away, often
times it shows as a very low connection.

The router is a DLink 524 and the pci internal card is a DWG 510 with the
little antenna on the back.

Is there an antenna extender available for this? So I can pick up a better
signal...or could I just tape on some wire leading to a coat hangar outside
the building?
