Already have the wireless/router to 'auto scan' for best channel.

Router is DLink DI-614+
Card is Dlink DWL 520+

The signal Does connect but only for 30 seconds, then drops out for 1
minute, like a cycle. It never works all the time.

What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

thanks

You said two weeks ago that you had this fixed.
What changed since then?

I set it to auto scan which fixed it for a week, so I thought.
Then I noticed it 'scanned' to channel 1 and stopped and set it to
channel 1 which turns out to be the weakest channel on this one.

Now it goes down and up again, decided to go with channel 11 instead
of auto scan and now it works.

Everyone here said auto scan, which probably does work on everything
except my crappy router?
