Sorry I am so thickheaded. I understand that the program only needs
to be installed on the 'host'. So, once that is done I go into the
program and set up the alias for the mail account. In doing that I
put the email address in (where it asks for email address. got it.)
then a line for the pop3 and one for the smtp.
Your example confused me but I am easily confused. both your addy and
user name were the same. This DOES go in Proxy configuration on the
'host', right?
Thanks so much.
(previous msg)
the remote in question was getting
the email coming to the one account until we went to Proxy. now that
remote cannot get the email.

In proxyX you have to add each mail account to the program so it
knows
where to send the mail to, if the user name is different to the e
mail
address
ie:
(E-Mail Removed) is the addy
but the user name is
12345%dsl.pipex.com
you have to put this in as well
