The following diagram is what I want to do. Will it work?

location 1:
[satellite]
|
|
[computer]---[wireless router (di-614)]

Location 2:
[Access point (dwl-800ap)]
|
|
[switch]----[computer]
|
|
[computer]

I was hoping that the wireless router would be able to talk to the
access point. Maybe I have something configured incorrectly or maybe
it will not work. Please advise. It's not very clear, from the dlink
docs, whether I can do this or not. It seems like it should work, but
cannot figure out if I need to configure as an access point or
repeater? If it can be done, how should I configure them?

Thanks in advance.

Ivan

You can do this with an 810 (bridge) ... not an 800. An 800 works only
as an AP or a repeater.

An AP is an access point for wireless clients; repeaters repeat an
existing signal (usually from an AP).
