Hi,any guidance on this would be much appreciated:
Basically if I plug my WAP into one of my 10/100 switches(at my business
address) I can access my network and the internet(2mb broadband on Netgear
dg814)no problem from my laptop(pcmcia 11b card). What I want to be able to
do is access the dg814 from home(in the next street)wirelessly. The problem
is that I want to be able to plug the WAP straight into the Netgear but when
I do so the laptop no longer sees the internet.Have tried as many
conceivable settings in the WAPs setup with no success.DSL account is no
nat.Could this be the reason?
Thanks

Why does it matter to you if the WAP is plugged into a switch where it
works?

Which device is providing DHCP service? Is there a separate security
appliance between the Netgear and the rest of the network?
