I have a single win2k3 server at a hosting facility. I have been
running w/o a problem for almost a year, until yesterday I had the
hosting provider add 3 new IP's. I could no longer connect over HTTP,
RDP etc, I was completely shut out.
After reading a number of threads in the NG, I see that ICF has
limitatios and if I wanted to multihomed, I need to get another
software firewall. Can some folks suggest software alternatives like
Kerio, that cost a lost less that $600 + yearly maintenance of ~$200.
MY needs are simple and I want the cheapest alternative.
