There is a general problem with most USB modems, including the frog, in
that they draw more than the allowed 500ma of power on the USB bus. In
the old pre-XP days, they power consumption was not checked by the OS,
then XP comes along which does monitor the power consumption, and lots
of things break. Basically XP can (and will) power down a device if it
draws more than 500ma of power on the USB port.
