I have the Microsoft Broadband wireless network which
works fine. I am trying to utilize an Apple Airport
Express to stream music from my PC to my stereo. I get a
message that I need to install Wireless Zero Configuration
to make it work. If I install that, will it interfere
with the software for Microsoft broadband network? Has
anyone successfully set up airport express as a client in
the Microsoft broadband wireless network?

The MS base stations do not support WDS which is what airport express
needs to use.

Actually, I have both and have the Airport streaming
great with the MN-700. You just join an existing
network. It doesn't use WDS for that. The only time WDS
is needed by the airport express is when you try to use
it as a wireless bridge (ex. for an Xbox)

What are you streaming from/to and what software? What connection ports?

I'm using ITunes to stream to the Airport Express. In
the Airport Admin Utility, you simply tell the Airport
Express to "Join An Existing Network". I have WEP setup,
so I have to also give it the WEP key. The Airport then
joins the network just as any other wireless device would
(not using WDS) Then, I open ITunes and there is a
button in the bottom right corner that you can use to
select "Airport Express (or the name you gave your
airport)" or "My Computer". If you select your Airport
Express, it streams the music directly to the unit.
Unfortunately you can't listen to the music on your
computer AND the airport. If you want a screenshot of my
setup I'd be happy to send one.

Does it support WPA-Personal (WPA-PSK)?

The option is there, but I've only set it up with WEP, so
I can't say whether it will work with the MN-700 or not
