I've got an Airport Extreme base station that was given to me, with
the power cord, software disc, and paperwork. The only thing missing
seems to the be wall mount adapter. Not a problem.

I've downloaded Airport 4.2 and am trying to get this set up so I can
use an XP laptop with a wireless dialup. Any help or point me in the
right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Also, update the firmware if necessary:
<http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/airportextremefirmwareupdate57forwindows.html>

There are also updates to the manuals:
<http://search.info.apple.com/index.html?q=airport+extreme+windows&type=kmanual& search=Search&lr=lang_en&search=Go&num=50&sort=>

As for the right direction, how about reading the manual?
