AIRLINK wireless problem

We switched from coax to wireless 11g. The networks ok BUT we have a couple
of the systems freeze up for 10 to 30 seconds on a regular basis. The
network is ad-hoc & we have 3 pc's on the network. 2 of the pc's are running
me & one is running win98se. Is this what we should expect with wireless?
Anyone got any ideas? TIA
