I upgraded my home DC from W2k to W2k3 Server. During the install I had to
remove one of the NICs (there were two NICs before) because the install would
freeze up on "installing devices". Now everytime I attempt to plug in a NIC
the computer locks up. The NIC that had to be uninstalled has been replaced.
The second NIC in the box is the same as it were before and after the
install. I've replaced the first NIC with a new Linksys Network adapter.
I've tried all the latest drivers. However, when I put try to plug in the
network adapter, the computer freezes up. I have to reboot the system to
regain access and there is not any error logs.

Any ideas anyone??
