We just moved offices. Everything is wired identically to what it was in
the old office. I have my printer plugged into the hub along with the
server and clients. For some reason, It acts as if the printer isn't there.
Connectivity isn't a problem, I checked all of the lines. I have no idea why
I can't find it. If you have any ideas, please let me know.

We are running Windows 2000 Server. All of the clients are Windows 2000. I
don't know what other info one might need to help me out, but I would
appreciate it.

Thank you,
Andrew

What type of printer? Did you print a self-test page and make sure the ip
is still correct? (not lost from memory from being unplugged)

I will have to look into printing the test page. Thanks for the idea. I
really appreciate the help, as I am totally new to this.
Thanks,

do you know the ip?
if so, open command prompt and type ping 10.1.1.1
replace 10.1.1.1 with the printers ip

How did it get its IP address. Assigned manually? DHCP? Is your office in a
different building with a different IP range (like DHSP from a SOHO router)?

....kurt
